Knitting Loom Classic Knit Super 8 Shape Long Loom

The Super 8 "S" shaped Classic Knit Loom is ideal for larger projects. Made by the UK based company, Groves & Banks, the pink coloured loom is of sturdy plastic construction with anchor pegs. Knitting looms are ideal for use if you have arthritis and find handling knitting needles difficult. The loom is supplied with basic instructions, plus yarn needle and loom pick.  The loom measures approx. 21cm x 64cm (photo for illustration purposes, just one loom supplied per purchase). A simple and stylish way to create afghans, blanket poncho, knitted quilts, opera wraps, yoga mat tote bag and much more. You can make a large bedspread or blanket up to approx. 292/295cm wide as there are a total of 236 pegs that can produce approx. 2.5cm for every 2 pegs with bulky yarn. Even though the loom has 2 rows of pegs, you may knit around the outside of the pegs to achieve the maximum size. You can make a large tube if you use all the pegs continuously or you can use partial parts of the loom to make smaller items such as bags, hats etc. Felting is also great for this loom because of the large size produced in one piece. The leaflet supplied with the loom has instructions for making a afghan blanket/bedspread, opera wrap, poncho and yoga mat tote bag.
