Authentic French Knitting Nancy Dolly Tricotin

One authentic French knitting dolly/tricotin (also known as a knitting nancy), in original packaging.  This item has a deliberate “rustic” appearance. A lovely gift for anyone wishing to learn the age-old craft of French knitting.  This tricotin has a pin for creating braids. The dolly is approx. 11.5cm tall. Colour supplied will vary from photo.  The four pronged dolly makes beautiful knitted cords that can be used for play, bracelet braids, and other craft projects (wool not supplied). Instructions are not included with the dolly but we have some basic french knitting instructions in the Hints and Tips page of this website.
