Vilene Fusible Interfacing 90cm x 50cm MEDIUM WEIGHT Interlining£3.95
One pack of Vilene medium weight iron-on interfacing/interlining. The pack contains one sheet, approx. size 90cm x 50cm, colour white. This product is ideally suited to cotton and cotton blended fabrics, giving a crisp clean handle to collars, cuffs, facings, and small area applications. This product is washable, dry-cleanable and can be tumble dried. Basic instructions on reverse of packaging. Picture shows front and back of two packs, only one pack supplied per purchase. This is a premium product from a top brand manufacturer.
Interfacing is an essential dressmaking product as it gives structure, and durability to fabric. Interfacings can be either fusible (iron-on) or sew-in. This fusible interfacing is ironed straight onto fabric, to give it a stiffer finish. You should always test the combination on a piece of scrap material before trusting it to your project. We have more information about interfacing in the Hints and Tips page of our website. Vilene's Instructions For Use of This Product: test on spare piece of fabric first. Cut interfacing to same size as pattern piece. Place coated/adhesive side of interfacing on to wrong side of fabric. No pressing required slowly glide steam iron 5 to 6 times over each area. Fusing time: 15 seconds. Make sure you choose an interfacing with the same wash and dry clean instructions as your fabric. Always re-press after washing.
